# Emergency stop plan

To be filled in as soon as you have an automation running. Keep it printed or in a note that is easy to find. It is for the day when something acts without you wanting it to.

## 1. Cut it right away (2 minutes)

| ☐ claude.ai connectors (Gmail, Calendar, Drive…) | **Customize**, **Connectors**, the connector, then **Disconnect**. The + button in a conversation is not enough: it only cuts that conversation |
| ☐ Servers added in Claude Code | `/mcp`: disable; or `claude mcp remove <name>`. For a claude.ai connector, `/mcp` only cuts it for the current project, in the terminal: to stop it everywhere, see the line above |
| ☐ Hooks | `"disableAllHooks": true` in your personal settings file `~/.claude/settings.json`; check that the project's `.claude/settings.json` file doesn't say otherwise |
| ☐ Plugins | `claude plugin disable --all` in the terminal, then `claude plugin list`: none should still be enabled; then close your running sessions (disabling only applies to the next sessions) |
| ☐ Session in progress | Stop the response, then close the session |

## 2. Remove the access (10 minutes)

- Google account: myaccount.google.com/connections, choose Claude, then remove its access ("Delete all connections", according to Claude's help) ☐
