# Outline of a long document: the requests, in order For a guide, a report, a booklet or an e-book. One request per step, in order. Nothing from the "never" list in your notes. ## 1. The detailed outline, without writing ``` I am preparing [the document] of [number] pages for [readers]. Here are my notes: [paste them, or name the file]. Propose only the detailed outline: for each part, its title, what it must say (based on the notes), its target length, and the information that is missing. Use only the notes. Do not write the document. Tell me whether the material is enough for the target length. ``` Then: fill in the missing information, or reduce the target length. Approve the outline. ## 2. One part at a time ``` Here are the notes and the outline for part [number], "[title]". Write only this part, in [number] words at most, in a [tone] tone. Use only what is in the notes. For each piece of information that is missing, write [to be completed: ...]. End with the list of the pieces of information from the notes that you used. ``` Read each part before the next one. Paste it into your document, under its heading. ## 3. Reading the whole thing ``` Here is the complete document. Do not rewrite anything. Only point out: 1. repetitions from one part to another; 2. words that change for the same thing (for example "membership" and "subscription"); 3. contradictions; 4. the [to be completed] that remain. ``` ## My tracking list | Part | Written | Read | [to be completed] left | |---|---|---|---| | 1. | ☐ | ☐ | | | 2. | ☐ | ☐ | | | 3. | ☐ | ☐ | | | 4. | ☐ | ☐ | | --- Practical AI Course, Maxime Toulemonde (EI, sole proprietorship).
